The humble microdot is a hard-to-beat package when you want speed without adding a lot of weight to your firearm. The venerable 30mm red dot is a great option for shooters who prefer to have speed AND a wide field of view through their optic. The SLx MD-25 is here to offer the perfect balance between the two with a compact design that weighs barely 2 ounces more than a standard microdot, yet offers the same field of view as a 30mm red dot! Add in super bright, daytime illumination, an up to 50,000-hour battery life, and the next generation ruggedized micro mount and you'll see how we're pushing the envelope for fast, lightweight optics!

The SLx 25mm Red Dot been equipped with the next generation ruggedized mounting system. We’ve upgraded everything about the mount from materials and finish to the design to create a mount that will not just clamp securely to your rail, but stand up the rigors of real-world use. Integrated recoil lugs help lock your mount in place against the heaviest recoil while large diameter crossbolts give you significantly improved clamping power and will hold up to significant torque. The included riser is the perfect height for AR-15s and AR-10s, but can be easily removed to for installation on AKs, shotguns, and more.
The SLx 25mm red dot includes the low base, a standard riser, and two different height spacers, as well as appropriate mounting hardware. With just the low base, a central height of 0.96” can be achieved. Add the standard riser for 1.41”. With the riser and thin spacer, your central height will be 1.54”. Using the thick spacer will place the optic at 1.64” height. With these options you can easily configure your optic to perfectly match your firearm and shooting style.

I own various red dots from Sig and Vortex, and even a Holosun which I really like. This optic is so much more open and easier to pick up the dot in that I am going to order another to replace the Sig Romeo! I have always found that getting behind the named red dots above is not as fluid as an Eotech due to the optic being so small. This is perfect for me! It doesn't have shake-awake, but with a battery life of 50,000 hours I can leave it on low and not worry.

So much better than expected...sturdy, accurate and I wholeheartedly recommend it over so many of the other "budget" dots out there. Nothing about this feels like budget except the price and I love it. Very reminiscent of an MRO...but less than half the price.

Fast shipping is the number 1 reason I order all my AR parts from Primary Arms. Received in 3 days, EXCELLENT!!!! The Red Dot comes with the best mounts included so no need to upgrade. Sight picture is clear and with 2 clicks left on the knob I was sighted in. Easy to locate and punish targets. Has definitely made me a better shooter. Range trips are awesome now. Crisp, round pinpoint dot easy to put on target. Next purchase will be a Cyclops 1X with the green ACSS reticle. Absolutely the BEST QUALITY OPTICS without spending 1k. Will definitely be many more Primary Arms Optics purchased for my rifles.

This is a great red dot for my PA-15 rifle. Great quality and solid construction. Mounted it is at the correct height without a riser as received. Really like the T-wrench supplied. 2 MOA red dot is easy to see even at low power. Adjustment knob for brightness control is a little too stiff but I still like it. Wish it had flip-up lens covers. Fast shipping and customer service. Thank you!

This red dot optic is solid as a rock with a very crisp 2 m.o.a. dot. It attached to the side mount on my ak and has not moved. Very easy to zero as well.

Great red dot.

It resembles a T1 and has great function. I have't dropped it on cement yet, but it handles short barrel 7.62x39mm fine. The battery cover is a bit tight, use a screwdriver not a quarter. After I screwed my first one up (with a quarter), they promptly sent me a new one. No shake awake, but other than that it is as good as any other red dot I have used.
