The humble microdot is a hard-to-beat package when you want speed without adding a lot of weight to your firearm. The venerable 30mm red dot is a great option for shooters who prefer to have speed AND a wide field of view through their optic. The SLx MD-25 is here to offer the perfect balance between the two with a compact design that weighs barely 2 ounces more than a standard microdot, yet offers the same field of view as a 30mm red dot! The SLx 25mm Red Dot been equipped with the next generation ruggedized mounting system. We’ve upgraded everything about the mount from materials and finish to the design to create a mount that will not just clamp securely to your rail, but stand up the rigors of real-world use. Integrated recoil lugs help lock your mount in place against the heaviest recoil while large diameter crossbolts give you significantly improved clamping power and will hold up to significant torque. The included riser is the perfect height for AR-15s and AR-10s, but can be easily removed to for installation on AKs, shotguns, and more.
The SLx 25mm red dot includes the low base, a standard riser, and two different height spacers, as well as appropriate mounting hardware. With just the low base, a central height of 0.96” can be achieved. Add the standard riser for 1.41”. With the riser and thin spacer, your central height will be 1.54”. Using the thick spacer will place the optic at 1.64” height. With these options you can easily configure your optic to perfectly match your firearm and shooting style.

Control Knob is too tight, battery cover is tricky too.

For $100, you get what you pay for. The 25mm tube is nice. Mine is mounted on a Unity Tactical Fast mount. Windage and elevation clicks were distinct and east to adjust. Not a fan of the battery cover. You must use a coin (quarter) to tighten the cover (none in may range bag or pockets these days). Mine came loose while turning the control knob.
Need FDE version and I would probably buy another!

Not something I would bet my life on but for a range set up yes.
Pros-Micro footprint is great with unity fast riser. The dot is very crisp. The tube diameter is larger and I like the sight picture especially under nods. I like the adjustment dials continuous twist that allows adjustment in either direction with intermittent shutoffs. Very Inexpensive.
Cons-Im contradicting myself because I like the larger tube diameter but it is heavier than other micro dots. It's not ridiculously heavy but it's something to consider. The adjustment knob is massive and sticks way out in the sight picture for right handed shooting. Lastly its made in China. I felt like a trader spending money that empowers the CCP. An organization that wants to wipe my country and others like it off the face of the planet. Not opposed to the people of their country but the CCP itself is evil.

Pretty darn good value

I have a few of these on various AR platforms in 556 and 308. They do fine, as they should. What impresses me is that I put it on top of a 480 Ruger Revolver for fun, and I’m on 400 rounds and counting. Shooting 400 grain cast bullets at 1200 fps. I don’t know if every sight would handle this, or for how long. But I mean look at the price!! I had that sight frozen solid in northern Michigan this year, to the point I was nervous the hammer on the gun would function. It was super cold and snowy. It worked, I have the full freezer to prove it. PA is awesome.
Great Red Dot - Complete system

Bought two of these. Clear optic, crisp dot. Stated as a 25, but very large feild of view. I have some other micros, and they are just too small. Mout one on an AK V pistol, one on a mid-length AR nwith the included riser. These include risers and spacer to accommodate any application, and the risers are well made. Low rise is one bolt, the tall is two angled to accommodate a magnifier. Perfect and a steal at the current price.

Just as durable and great looking as the ACSS model. The 2MOA red dot retical is clean and crisp. Although it has a slight blu/green tint on the glass which can be notice if you really look for it but overall very clear. It comes with various size riser plates for your desired mounting height. It lines up perfectly with a SIG Juliet4 magnifier that I swap back and forth to my other AR with the ACSS retical

The mounting options are nice. Should come with some kind of lens covers. At this price point both sig and holosun are better options.

Just got one of these because it was on sale. Best $100.00 ever spent. I attached it to my AR15 .223 Wylde, had it zeroed in three rounds and shot a coyote at 200 yards the next day. I can’t say how impressed I am with this optic.
