The ProMag COL-A3B is a 9mm magazine designed for AR-9 lowers with Colt pattern magazine wells. This 32 round magazine is an affordable option to fully finish your pistol caliber carbine build. This Colt pattern magazine is made from a durable polymer with an internal steel lining for increased durability and reliability. The internal steel lining extends up to the feed lips to ensure proper function for many years and it also helps to keep the magazine securely locked into the magazine well. Good but didn't work for my setup.

The mag looks good, feels good, fully loaded it swelled up a little but making it difficult to insert. I was using bayou bullet reloads and I was getting ftf's every 3 round or so, jamming it up into the receiver. I found that the feed angle is level with the barrel and not angled up like my other mags that function flawlessly. I am also using a colt 604 upper receiver, cmmg lower, and another brand's 9mm barrel. Other mags run great, this one just has issues for me.

Couldn't be happier with these mags

I bought the PMAG Ar15 magazine conversion and I bought a couple of these 32rd PMAG 9mm magazines and I couldn't be happier with them. PMAG gets alot of flak that i dont think is fully deserved especially about these colt style 9mm mags. They work flawlessly. I havent had a single failure of any kind with about 500 rds thru 2 mags. They seat perfect, feed fire and extract perfectly.

Doesn't work well with Guntec adapter, has mag catch problems. With Promag's OWN adapter, on the other hand, it works flawlessly.
