Each rail is precision machined from high-strength 6061-T6 aluminum and features a tough hardcoat anodized finish. With a comfortable 1.375" internal diameter, seamless top-rail, and heavy duty 4140 steel barrel nut, this M-LOK compatible handguard is an excellent option for your next build.

Im no internet ex special forces or youtube world class armourer, with only having put together and shot a few dozen AR rifles/pistols combined, my experience for comparison is limited. I also am a fan of value minded spending. This item is exactly 10" in length. The anodizing is a nice black and not a grayish-black. The color is uniform throughout. I did not weigh it prior to install. The barrel nut weighs 3.49 OZ. The identical 15" handguard from Radical weighs 10.55 OZ. My best guess is this one is around 7 OZ. All the machining is smooth. Theres no rough edges. The barrel nut does not require timing for the gas tube. Flats on the barrel nut measures 30mm. In addition to the two hex heads screws that clamp the hand guard on, there is also a type of hex head set screw on the bottom that goes into a groove around the barrel nut helping keep it in place. Between the 10" and 15" Radical PA exclusive hand guards on 2 different firearms, no complaints except no qd for a sling.

Received the handguard today, installed it and I'm impressed with the feel and quality of the guards. I'm in the process of another build and wish that I bought two sets.

Garbage

Screws are cheap pot metal. Stripped immediately. Forearm doesn't sit level. Set screw underneath causes it to can't.

It's the easiest rail handguard to install. I like the engineering design and bolt on. Another build in the works hopefully looking forward to a future purchase again.

Decent for a budget build, rigid and functional.

Great price and service from PA, however the quality of the finish is subpar. There was a lot of burrs from the milling still on there, and they were anodized also. A lot of the burrs flaked off along with the finish, exposing the metal. But it does mount on solid and works as it’s intended.

Good fit

Glad I got this one when I did. The length and weight are perfect for the lightweight grab and go 16" rifle length upper I built earlier this year. Surprised to see how much prices have gone up since I got this in early March. My only complaint is that the circular cutouts feel a little sharp on the edges. I'm looking for some rail panels to get a more comfortable grip on the handgaurd.
