Nice look but loose
by John R. -
Chose this rail due to price and the reputation of the company. I installed the rail following the instructional video on the company’s YouTube page, after torquing the screws to 25in lbs rail was loose, after seeing in the description of the vid it said 40in lbs maybe be needed, so tightened the three screws to that, and we it’s still loose, the design has it clamping only one side, I don’t recommend this rail if you plan on mounting a bipod or well anything, maybe that’s why it’s no longer shown on rise armaments website

Garbage. Absolute garbage. When I first picked up this hand guard the finish was not great, but for 85 bucks, ok.
I then proceeded to tear down my upper to install this Rise junk. The hand guard it was replacing was the 15" PA exclusive Radical hand guard. Once I installed this Rise hand guard it wobbles. Not a little, but a very large amount. So I tried snugging it up some more, nothing. This is a hunk of junk. Do not waste your time.
I will now need to remove my muzzle device, waste another crush washer, remove the gas block (red loctite...), remove this trash.....all this again. What a waste.
Doesn’t mount securely
by John -
Bought this and had to return it due to not being secure, thought it was just a fluke but the mounting system for this rail doesn’t not mount securely it’s not rock solid and wobbles. I mounted it according to their instructions and they recommend 40in lbs if the 25 listed won’t make it secure, well it still wobbles and if it were not for the anti rotational tabs I could probably rotate it more. It’s a nice rail but the mounting system sucks only clamps from one side. I can’t recommend this rail.
Does Not Work
by Erik -
Does not mount tight. Wobbles all over the place. I tried on 3 seperate uppers, all with the same results.
I returned the rail and picked up a second one as a replacement. Same exact issue. I contacted RA, they informed me that they may be having some machining issues.
PA was excellent in taking care of the returns and offering solutions.
Pain in the ass rise wtf you make good triggers but thats all

Pain in the ass. It attaches with 3 screws 2 of which flushed up real nice the 3rd screw went in to the threads on the other side and stopped. I was unable to flush it up it binded and I ended up stripping out the 3rd screw. I cannot remove it now and I hadnt pinned my gas block so I will have to get a stripped screw remover. Total pain in the butt wish I went with something simpler to install for my first time.
