Great Lever Rifle

by

I have owned this 16 inch 357 stainless Rossi 92 rifle for about 5 years. It only cost about $500 back then and for that price point it is 5 stars! I really like this rifle and it is fun to shoot. The good: works great every time; once broken in I have not experienced any FTF or FTE (just use the lever like you mean it); finish is good; light and easy to use; low recoil; shoots 357, 38 specials and 38+p ammo; price is lower than competitors. The not so good: Sights shoot a few inches high at close distance (25 yards), loading gate very stiff until broken in; finish not as good as Marlin, Winchester or Henry; some people do not like the manual safety (not a problem for me); shells eject from top so optics can be difficult to mount. Another plus is that it can be customized (check out Steve Gunz on the internet).
