The uniqueness of the rotary magazine notwithstanding, the flush mounted magazine has been painstakingly designed to maintain the overall sleek look of the rifle and to provide smooth, unfettered support grip beneath the stock. Once the charging bolt is engaged you’re capable of snapping off 10 rounds, then easily removing the flush mounted magazine, inserting another, and you’re ready for another set of 10 rounds. The Ruger 10 round 22LR rifle barrel is cold forged for tremendous strength and durability and is locked into place by Ruger’s unique; two screw V-block system. And always concerned with safety, Ruger has included a positive, push-button manual safety on this sweetheart of a rifle. Although Ruger had us all at Viridian® EON 3 9X40 scope, there’s more to this rifle than a first, beautiful glance. Should you not be all that hot for a Viridian® EON 3-9x40 scope (and we don’t see how that’s possible) Ruger included a combination scope base adapter which can handle both Weaver-style and .22 tip-off mounts. The entire trigger housing assembly is heat-stabilized, glass filled and made to precision for improved tolerances, impact and abrasion resistance with an unparalleled ability to withstand the elements of unsavory conditions in the field.Even without the scope this is one stylish and attractive looking rifle.
