The Ruger Muzzle Brake System includes a removable radial-port muzzle brake that significantly reduces the .300 Win Mag's felt recoil and muzzle rise, along with a dynamically-matched muzzle weight for use when the brake is not preferred. The large white bead front sight and express-style windage-adjustable V-notch rear sight deliver the fast, instinctive sight picture that close-range field shooting demands, with integral scope bases also on the receiver for optics use at extended ranges. The LC6 trigger delivers a crisp, consistent single-stage pull. The Mauser-style controlled-round feed extractor and fixed blade ejector provide positive feed and ejection under all field conditions. The American walnut stock features wrap-around checkering on the grip and forend, an ebony forend cap, red rubber recoil pad, and front sling swivel with barrel band. The solid steel hinged floorplate with Ruger logo releases via a tab inside the trigger guard for clean field unloading.
