For suppressor hosts, simply start with the suppressor installed and set your initial gas setting with the fine tuning adjustment on the front of the gas block. The ideal setting is one click higher than what will reliably lock the bolt open on an open mag. From there, simply install the gas switch in the left most position to set your minimum gas setting. From there, if the rifle gets dirty or you remove the suppressor you can simply push the switch over to the right to add gas to the system and keep your rifle running reliably.
Proof that the American Dream is alive and well, Seekins Precision began in 2004 with a single product. Their rapid growth has carried them from the early days of manufacturing scope rings to include more than ten major product lines, including complete rifles.

Thinking about using it on a suppressed rifle? Then your gonna love it.

This is going on every one of my rifles. I put this on my AERO Precision AR10 chambered in .308 to solve the suppressor over gassing problem. Now i can switch from suppressed to un-suppressed with the flick of a switch on the gas block. By far the best thing to come out for the AR in the past few years. I installed the gas block, went to the range, and tuned it to run perfectly while i had my suppressor on. Then i took the suppressor off, moved the switch to the full open (+) setting, and it ran perfectly. So i don't have to compromise between being over gassed or under gassed when using my suppressor... or not.
My adjustment screw blew off

First, I set the gas block to function with my SOCOM RC2 suppressor. I have an 11.5" Colt FBI HRT barrel. After setting the gas block for the suppressor, I secured the throw lever and flipped it over to see if the gun would function absent the suppressor. It would not. Then I decided I set the gas block to run without a suppressor and would just throw the lever over to reduce gas when running a suppressor. I had to back the adjustment screw out so much that it blew out when shooting. I was switching ammo between PMC Bronze .223, 55 gr.;, Winchester .223 FMJ BT, 55 gr.; and Federal Premium Gold Medal duty ammo, 77 gr. The gas block was aligned using a bore scope. I sent Seekins an email asking for a replacement adjustment screw, detent ball and spring—waiting on a response.
