SilencerCo Chimera 300 30 Cal Suppressor with ASR Mount

SilencerCo's Chimera 300 is a true multicaliber suppressor, rated to handle rounds all the way up to 300 Winchester Magnum. With the more common 300 BLK, it reduces the noise signature to 125.8db at the muzzle. When firing 5.56/223 Remington rounds, the noise is reduced to 135.3db. The Chimera 300 suppressor accomplishes this impressive noise reduction without a significant weight or size penalty. Weighing in at only 20.1 ounces and 6.9 inches long, the SilencerCo Chimera 300's construction consists of Inconel, Cobalt 6, and stainless steel. The Chimera was designed to be mounted on any length of barrel, with a principle design for short barreled rifles. Because it's built for short barreled rifles, you won't damage it from excess gas spilling into the suppressor. Also included with the Chimera 300 is an ASR mount. The SilencerCo ASR mount stands for Active Spring Retention, and gives shooters maximum flexibility to attach muzzle devices to their AR-pattern rifle. The ASR uses a locking collar which secures the suppressor in place, and keeps it from unscrewing itself from the rifle during rapid fire. That's especially important, since the Chimera 300 is rated for sustained full auto fire, and can be mounted to belt fed machine guns like the FNH M249 or M240B.
