The interrupted top rail maintains both M-LOK slots and a picatinny rail at the front to mount your favorite back up iron sights without the unnecessary weight of a full-length M1913 rail. The narrow internal diameter coupled with extensive cooling cuts further reduce unnecessary bulk, while also increasing the strength of the 7075-T6 aluminum body over larger handguards.
