The Sig Sauer ROMEO5 Red Dot Sight 1x20mm 2 MOA provides a robust 1x aiming solution for any situation. The sights are parallax-free so point-of-aim and point-of-impact remain the same. Unlimited eye-relief allows you to acquire targets regardless of the position of your eye behind the sight. With up to 50,000 hours of life, the commonly available CR2032 battery is side loading so you can replace it quickly if it fails. Romeo5 also features MOTAC (Motion Activated Illumination), which will automatically turn on or shut down based upon the optic’s movement, increasing battery optimization even further. Sig Sauer makes this optic widely adaptable to various weapons with a M1913 Picatinny system, plus low mount riser and a co-witness riser mount allow the user to customize the view to their perspective.

Features:
  • CR2032 Battery

RUN! Buy it now!

Oh I wish this feature was working right...3 attempts to offer you this important review. You have to have this! Ordered it on a Friday, and USPS delivered on Monday. Ive got two Sig PM400's. My 11" barrel has a Trijicon ACOG w/ Larue mount. I put my new Sig Romeo 5 on my 7" CQB unit and it puts a red laser dot exactly on target - that only you can see(!), just as my ACOG (well, w/ it's green triangle), but at 10% the cost and weight, and half the size? I love Sig stuff, and Primary Arms pricing and customer care. Other similar priced brands and models are offered as multiple variants that can leave you with regret (you unknowingly get the cheapee version). Not Sig...only highest quality. Quality pays!

Excellent sub-$300 reddot.

Excellent red dot! Clear lens, no blue tint. Precise dot, no flare, glare, or that weird streak/tracking like on Sparc II's. Mount is basic and decent. For the great price PA had them for, it's by far the best red dot option.

Tentatively Great Sight for the Money

by

I have had this for two weeks and a little under 150 rounds on an AK Ultimak rail. 7.62x39, 14" barrel. My previous budget red dot died after 20 rounds in the same position. Very impressed with the quality for the price point. Dot is visible in full sunlight. Good sight.

Like potato chips...you can't just have one...

I now have 3 of these Romeo 5's and will keep buying them for budget builds. These little red dots are so sweet. The motion activated reticle pops on when the gun moves. This allows for extending the battery life. I typically get 3 to 6 months per battery, which are common and easy to find. The reticle is crisp and these little gems hold their zero perfectly. I have never had any issues with that, nor any problems with battery contacts. The Romeo is notoriously tough, a google search will reveal severe testing done on these without failure. Negatives are mainly that the turrets are not covered but it hasn't been a problem for me. Comes with low and high mounts and they will also work with any Aimpoint TI mounts are these are basically clones. The Romeo has acquired a reputation as a tough as nails performer, and I have found that to be the case as well.

Good match for my AK

This hot little item performs heads above the other red dots I have. Great features and no problem with my old age eyesight. Put it on my MAK-90 with a TWS cover and was pleased when the height of the Romeo allowed me to use the iron sights . The transition from the Romeo to the iron sights was easy and quick. Dialed it in at the range very quickly and has held after several hundred rounds. Have to get another for the AR.

Very nice sight

by

First things first- dot isn't super crisp; tiny bit of starburst but could be my eyes. Build quality is very solid, mounts super tight, and adjustments are solid. I finally had a chance to sight it in after hunting on Thanksgiving. Weapon- Custom Stag 16" 5.56. I did a 10 yard laser bore sight first with my Sightmark. Then I did a 25 yard, 1" low zero shooting prone resting on my assault pack . Only took 15 rounds to get zeroed. Then held zero perfect out to 50 yards with 60 more rounds. Shot about a 1.5" group at 50 yds. The dot could easily be seen in broad daylight at brightest setting. Overall, I'm extremely happy with this sight and would highly recommend.

Nice little lower cost scope.

by

I bought one of these scopes to put on my Sig Sauer 716 Patrol.

After zeroing it in and taking it out a couple of more times I am confident that it will stand up to the .308 recoil. Holds zero.

The dot is bright enough in the Florida sun and I love the aromatic cut off feature.

Seems to be holding up as good as my more expensive Aimpoints and Trijicons.

Great performance and price!!!

Purchased for my first AR build and have been pleased to say the least. Overall great price and performance, looking forward to purchasing again for next build.

Great scope at a great price

Love the scope. Well built and works as advertised. The Customer Service Department is top notch. Best in the industry IMHO.

Nice!

This is my first red dot type scope on an AR-15 and I have to admit I love it! The dot size is small enough to see the target and you don't have to remember to turn it on/off when in use or going to storage. If you're looking for a reasonably priced red dot that's effective and stylish, this would make a great choice!
