Spike's Tactical AR-15 Lower Parts Kit - Single Stage Trigger

I bought this as a gift for my father in law to complete his build and it is great. We went out to shoot the next day. And it performs as good as my dpms lower.

I decided to go back to the Spike LPK after 3 other builds using other manufacture's low priced kits. These kits are high quality, easy to install and come with extra "Oops" springs. I would recommend this kit for first time builders. The roll pins are of the type that are actually rolled up like a cigar which makes them easy to install as opposed to the type which are split lengthwise. The fit and finish is excellent. No plastic mag release button or trigger guard here. The mag release button has a custom texture to it. The take down pins and safety detents notches are smooth and precise. Primary Arms has outstanding service and fast shipping.

I got this for my 6.5 grendel build and when I took it to the range it because firing 2 rounds per trigger pull(i was using 2 different 6.5 grendel mags). It did this almost every time. I swapped buffer and upper with my ruger 5.56 and while not as consistent it still malfunctioned. I love spikes, I just think I got a bad trigger assembly

I have always used STAG LPKs in the past but decided to try Spike's since I was building a Spike's lower. I loved the fact that everything was compartmentalized in its own bag! There is also 2 extra parts for the ones that are commonly lost.

I have used these before for building several AR's, and I have used other brands as well. I greatly prefer the Spike's, because of their higher quality parts. It was at a great price as well, and PA is the BEST supplier!

I ordered two Spikes lower parts kits. One came with the enhanced grip, and one with the standard A2. Both came with a billet style magazine release button, and both came with an extra take down / pivot detent & spring.Over all very happy with these kits.

I purchased this on a Friday and it was here on Monday. That seems to be the story with primary arms, great customer service. The kit itself, good quality and good fit. My only compliant is the grip, its better than a standard milspec, but still feels cheap. The rest of this is kit is great, spikes takes the time to give each part great detail. Thanks again PA

If you are looking for a great parts kit then this is for you. That being said as I was ordering this I knew I was going to replace the safety and Pistol grip. The grip it comes with feels great in hand but is a little slim. The safety selector on the other hand was plain bad. It felt gummy and wouldn't snap into position. I bought a strike industries selector kit and that snaps into position like a charm

I'm very familiar with Spike's Tactical, I've met the owner and ran uppers and lowers for them when I worked for another company, and know the quality they expect... I don't hesitate when buying their products..

Installed a Spikes LPK on a previous build and has a great crisp feel to it. Nothing to complain about so figured I'd use it again on the next build!4 stars only as nothing is perfect and you must always strive to be/do better
