Strike Industries Enhanced AR Bolt Catch

I've put this catch on three different rifles, two Palmetto State, and one Aero Gen2. It has fit and functioned perfectly on each one. I'll be using them again in the future.

Worse than an original mil-spec part. Will almost catch if you hold it. Otherwise it will not hold after last round at all. I broke my last one, otherwise I would send it back. So still doesn't work, but looks good.

Yes, I didn't believe the first review about this product being worse than the original, mil-spec bolt catch. Well, it IS much worse! It will not hold the bolt reliably unless the bolt catch is held in place. Too bad because the lever is very nicely designed, very ergonomic and easy to operate with the index finger

BEWARE - Will NOT work on a .308 Aero Precision M5 DMPS cut lower. It would not rock at all.

Works perfectly, much easier to use than the Milspec catch.

I see a lot of negative reviews, but I have not experienced any of the issues they have. Anderson lower, PSA upper.

Solid construction at the right price!. A very nice aesthetic touch while adding functionality at the same time. BZ! Be prepared to add to all your rifles once you've used one.

This adds just enough to be more useful than stock but not enough to be unwieldy.

It looks good, and has worked. As some have said, it's a bit gritty (oil improved it). Holds the bolt back after the last round, and does what it's supposed to. Not as ecstatic about this product as I have been with other Strike Ind. accessories. Fast shipping and great service from PA as usual.

I added this part to my 6.5 Grendel with a billet lower and it works great. It catches the bolt every time I empty a mag. I did had a bit of a time trying to put in a new ambi mag release as it was scraping the bottom of the unit. other then that small issue everything works and functions properly. I would recommend this part to everyone.

Coming from a left-handed shooter.

This bolt catch has become one of my favorite upgrades to make to my rifles; so much so that it's become a "standard" component on almost all of my AR-15s.

Its geometric profile makes it incredibly easy to actuate both the lower and upper levers to both lock and release the BCG. I've encountered no tolerance or interference issues between it and the lower receivers I've installed it on; Aero Precision Mil-Spec and M4E1, Anderson Mil-Spec, and a Smith & Wesson M&P 15 lower receiver.

The finish on it resembles the typical mil-spec black, but slightly darker. It's nothing to worry about, in my opinion. It looks very good either way on the lowers I've used it on.

It comes with all of the hardware you need to install it, so you wont have to worry about buying additional components.

Ultimately this is an amazing upgrade to make to any AR-15 and I absolutely recommend it, especially for left-handed shooters.
