SI Extended Takedown / Pivot Pins are ideal for a custom look or when frequently swapping upper receivers. Crafted from precision machined steel, this set is a drop-in replacement for standard AR-15/M16/M4 pins.
NOTE: SI Extended Pivot Pins may not be compatible with all billet receivers. Not compatible with Area53 Mod 0 receivers.

Nice pins.

I have the chrome pins. Slightly (.001) oversize so upper to lower fit is better. Like the look.

I recently did a build with sort of chrome/nib accents(ss barrel, nib bcg, wmd nib-x trigger, etc) and these fit in really well with the scheme. They also were functional and I had no problem with them. :)

Nice takedown pins. I will say it would have been nice if the pins had a Strike logo on them. Overall easy to install and doesn't get caught on clothing.

Second set of these enhanced pivot pins. Went for the chrome this time as I was going for a black recipient with polished/chrome parts. Didn't disappoint. Works well, once oiled and lubricated.

The fit and finish is good but to be honest I have not used them in the field yet. I will write a follow up review once I use them in the field.

These pins are nice! Gorgeous even! Have a clear bench when you install, if you don't know this already! (Detent pins tend to fly!) Overall, easy install!Fit n' finish is quality work. These add just enough functionality to make them work and appeal to make them look good!
