JellyFish for RMR

Fits on great and protects the glass. Yes, you can aim through it using the Bindon Aiming concept but you cannot really see through it. Also, if you have a rear sight behind your RMR, you will have to cut off the tab that allows you to quickly pop off the cover.

While it will protect your RMR... It is no where near as translucent as the photo implies. And the plastic is not anywhere near distortion free.
Forget about viewing through it .
Great Sight Protection... with Limits

I like it because it does protect the expensive RMR and fits very securely...a perfect fit. I use it on my Glock long slide 10mm when whitetail hunting in the rain and woods with a rifle, in case I actually get close enough to a deer to use it. But, as the other raters stated, you cannot see through it clearly enough for an acurate shot with it covering the sight. Use it as a protective cover and its great for that.
Fantastic Idea, Horribly Executed

This product is a really great idea. I would like to have some type of RMR cover for my valuable optic and something to keep the dust off. However, the execution of this idea is totally impractical and unusable.
You can not see the dot at all, rather a blurry red image that you can not see through whatsoever, there are tabs that lock into the drainage holes making it very secure. Which is a bad thing because you really can't get it off without putting on a decent amount of force. Last, I can't get it to fit in my holster because I think it is a little bulkier than necessary.
Strike Industries, use a clear plastic, eliminate the locking tabs, move the lanyard loop to the top, and slim down the profile. If you do this I will buy another. But I am returning this particular one, unfortunately.

Protects the optic well during transport, but the window is not clear for shooting. The dot itself flares out and gets blurry. Imagine wiping Vaseline on your RMR lens- That's what the view looks like.
It is a cover people, not a skin!!!

It is listed as a cover, NOT a skin, case, etc. As such, anyone who is complaining about not being able to see through it is very misguided. Probably the same people trying to shoot their ACOG with the bikini cover on it.
For a cover, it does exactly what it says. You take it off before you shoot. So this would not be for carry use obviously.

I have an RMR type 1. The cover fit perfect. I use the cover when I clean the gun to keep from getting solvents on it

Simple concept and reasonably executed, this Trijicon RMR cover works well on a POF Glock P19. No alterations necessary or desired. The fit is snug which is what I need. Yes, dislodging it takes some effort, but it's a cover, not a carry/emergency use item. When in a range bag, it remains secured to slide and protects the Red Dot. It does exactly what it needs to.
