Strike Industries Mod 1 Carbine Stock Mil-Spec - Black / Red

I like this stock a lot! I have many AR's with many different kinds of stocks. This one is light and streamlined. It fits tight on my tube with no rattle. The gun I installed it on is just a regular factory Palmetto lower. I also installed a red strike industries CH, red seekins safety, and red strike industries mag release button. All the "reds" matched exactly.

This stock has a plastic slippery butt. The sharp angle makes it worse. However, I contacted Strike and PA and they do make a rubber slip over pad that you will probably want. PA said they will get them in. Who knew? I'm not going to downgrade my stars because of that but be aware.

Good looking, super light stock. Fit was good.

On it's own, it's well-made and sturdy, but I'm getting an inordinate amount of wobble when I mount this on my mil-spec buffer tube.

There's a lot of play with this stock, and although I don't worry about it coming off (the pin itself is secure enough), I can't recommend it based on the amount slop I'm getting.

Great all around stock and looks good on my AR. It did have some wobble Like mentioned in other reviews. All you have to do is cut a small piece of adhesive velcro and stick it on the back portion of your buffer tube and it eliminates all wobble.

Could have come with the bumper pad but Love it! Particularly the tight solid fit and the minimalist look.

I’ve found it to be hit or miss with Strike products. This is a miss. Looks cool but totally uncomfortable to shoot with this on you AR. It also is loose and not very well made!
