One of the best ways to survive a gun fight is to not be shot, but sometimes the risk of being shot needs to be taken in order to resolve the situation. That's where these ballistic shields come into play.

Your standard body armor is made for all day wear but if the threat is a rifle caliber weapon something extra is needed.

These stand alone Level III shields are capable of taking multiple rifle rounds before losing their ballistic integrity. These means you stay in the fight longer while protecting those behind you.

  • Shield dimensions are 18x24 in.
  • Weight, 14 lbs/ 6.4 kgs
  • Multi-hit rated (NIJ 0108.01)
  • Ambidextrous handle, quick release strap, and carry bag
  • Rhino Extreme 150Fr Anti-Spall Coating

The ballistic plates of the shield are made of a UHMWPE based material, then encased in Polyurea. On top of this there a Rhino Extreme 150Fr Anti Spall Coating to keep dangerous projectile fragments from ricocheting off the shield and into the surrounding area.

These shields can be easily stored in your trunk for rapid deployment as needed. They feature a flat striking surface and are light enough to be carried by a single individual.

This shield is rated to take multiple hits from 7.62x51 (M80 ball), 7.62x39 ball, and 5.56x45mm M193 going at their average fastest speeds. Comes in Black and does not feature a viewport.
