Ran into trouble installing on an ATI composite lower due to buffer pin not going down far enough to catch the slot on the folding stock tube. Wound up installing on a different pistol lower instead, flawlessly. Very happy and will probably buy another for a different rig.

I just installed this on a 14.5 pinned ar and it brought the total length to 25.75”. This really opens up a lot of storage and discrete transport options. Using the standard buffer there were zero cycling issues and the lock up is tight and it doesn’t swing freely when in the folded position.

So far I am super happy with this, install is easy and it seems super sturdy. A lot of guys say the folded detent isn't strong enough but it seems pretty firm to me. Haven't tested if I can actually pick the weapon up by it folded or anything. Doesn't seem necessary to me?

Also it DOES NOT have a QD mount. I know the end plate looks like a QD but it is not. If your upper or end plate are QD make sure you install the swivel prior to screwing in the folding adapter. You won't be able to remove the stud but you will be able to use the receiver as a mounting point instead of your brace/stock.

I have 2 LAW folders and they work great. No complaints. Great product. I didn’t know anyone else made the same product until I stumbled across this at my LGS and then ordered it off PA for $200 less then the only LAW folder i could find in stock anywhere. I assumed this would be slightly lower quality but I was ok with that on this 10.5” home build. Much to my surprise this product is made as well or better then the LAW folder and I thought they did a really good job with engineering and design as it was a very easy installation and it has zero wiggle. I honestly can’t come up with a reason why I wouldn’t buy this product if I wanted a folding stock unless maybe I just wanted to be in the club and post pictures on LAWs ‘gram page and I liked spending more money. There is zero downside to this vs the LAW. Save ur money amd get this before they go up in price because everyone has figured out how good they are.

This is by far the best folding adapter out there for the money.

Works great, running on FM-9.

Does not work with a JP Enterprise SCS buffer. Waiting to hear from JP on if the extension they have for the LAW adapter will work with this adapter. Until then had to revert back to the H2 buffer and spring. Stay tuned.

Solid product, much cheaper than other AR folding stock adapters. Only minor drawbacks are that it's not compatible with captured buffer systems and taking it down for cleaning adds an extra step.

Soft aluminum castings. Didn't last 15 rounds in a suppressed 10.5" 5.56 carbine length pistol. One mag during a test and the recoil hammered the surface of the latch catch pocket back so far it no longer locks solidly and tight and of course there is no adjustment in this design. It is wobbly now side to side not nice and tight like when installed.
So now I have to pay postage both ways for limited lifetime warranty with proof of purchase and wait... or repair it and mod it myself.
I cannot recommend this product because of all of the above.
