Talley 2-Piece Remington 700 Picatinny Rail

Mounting a scope correctly is one of the most important parts of a precision rifle setup. These sections of 1913 rail will give you an excellent base upon which to mount scope rings or other optics options. Installation on these is super simple: they mount directly onto your compatible rifle and mounting hardware is included. From there, you add the accessories or optics that are 1913 rail compatible.

We do recommend using some thread locker to make sure that the screws do not walk out with recoil. While most bolt action rifles do not come with sections of 1913 rail on them, it makes sense to add these if you already have mounts or an optic that are Picatinny rail compatible. With that said, make sure that these are seated correctly and do not move with recoil: if these are loose at all it will cause your optic to lose zero. The same is also true for any accessories that you mount to these rails: double-check tightness on everything before zeroing your firearm.
