A little extra protection never hurt!

I think these covers are more relevant on the T1's as they don't come with flip caps like the T2 does. I know the housings are durable as well but the additional scratch and impact protection doesn't hurt either. I've even used one of these on a Holosun with a little trimming to expose the buttons on top (the T2 cover works better for that application and actually works really well for the new PA MD-20).
