Nice and Tight....

Very impressed on how it fitted on my Spike Tactical lower, oiled very good went to range, changed muzzle and cited it in at 100 yards and did very good, it kept a nice tight pattern and I shot a little over 300 rounds of 5.56 and .223 with no issue. It is well constructed, it feels good and shoots good.
Bad bolt carrier group

First off, they sent me this product but with the KetMod rail. I went through the return process and they exchanged it for the correct product with the M-LOK rail. I took it out to shoot and the upper was bone dry so I oiled it up. It would shoot one round and failed to extract the casing. The bcg would barely even budge when firing. I put the bcg into a friend’s rifle and the exact same problem was happening. I do not want to mess with buying another bcg so just going to send it back, get my money, and take my business elsewhere.
Bad quality control makes a great deal less than great.

For the price, this is a really nice upper. You get lots of custom looking parts, the weight is relatively low, and the upper operates pretty well....after you fix it. The one I received...and I BET the one that other reviewer received, had the gas block in the wrong place. It was not seated at all. The rifle would not feed at all, and would only fire a manually chambered round. After disassembling the handguard and loosening the gas block, we were able to reseat the gas block and reassemble it. After that, and a thorough cleaning, this upper fires very nicely and reliably. You shouldn't have to do all that to have a full functioning upper, so it loses a star. Seems like a quality control issue to me. Fix it and I would buy another.
It’s definitely a $350 upper.

Aside from the gas block not being installed properly I am nothing but pleased. Only have about 500 through it but only had 1 FTE caused by the loose GB. Groups are a little loose for my liking though.
