The Timney AR-15 competition trigger is wire EDM machined from heat treated S7 tool steel with an aluminum housing so you don’t have to worry about it breaking after years of heavy use. The single-piece drop-in design is easy to install and is more reliable than standard fire control groups because it keeps dirt and debris from getting inside the mechanism. Each and every trigger is individually tested and calibrated by hand before leaving the factory floor.
This trigger group is non-adjustable to reduce the amount of parts that are potential failure points so you can rely on it in any stressful situation. All engagement surfaces are precision ground to produce a smooth consistent pull that breaks in the same spot every time leading to greater accuracy.

Amazing Trigger

I would say this trigger is the best upgrade you can do to an AR platform. Going from a milspec trigger to this drop in is like night and day. it's built very solid and very easy to install. Highly recommend this trigger to others.

My favorite Trigger of all my rifles...is not this trigger. It is the Geissele SSA-E, two-stage. This build was for a pistol and I didn't think a two stage was necessary as I'm probably sighting in the pistol at 25 yards. I felt a solid single stage with a light pull was better for the build and this fit the mold. The trigger installs easily, breaks cleanly, and was on sale at the time. $50 cheaper then SSA-E, meant money could be spent elsewhere to finish the build. This is my second 667-S and it's a great trigger.

Nothing worse than a standard Mil-Spec trigger on the AR Platform for Target Shooting Accuracy. The Timney 3lb. Trigger is an excellent choice to get you on target and make your AR a pleasure to shoot. This trigger is a bit more difficult to install with the locking set screws than the competitions however it is much less money and functions better than the others. I know I have them all and would never install anything but Timney going forward.
