The battery storage compartment is designed for remote NVG batteries. It is compatible with the standard-issue ANVIS box, the Adams Industries Ground Warrior Battery Pack, and the AN/PVS-13 BNVD winter Battery Box.

Two straps are provided to secure the battery box lids for retention and security while allowing for access to the central power switch.

Features:
  • Compatible with multiple batteries
  • Compatible with all current/fielded strobes
  • Made of 500D Cordura
  • Multiple storages and retention options

The main compartment has two elastic loops on the side, allowing for battery access and storage. Up to two batteries can be retrieved without using the VELCRO® attachments. These loops can also be used to store other things like chemlights or other small items.

Additional retention is provided by two routing loops for shock cord or 550 cord. This is done by running these cords through the system to the helmet's read bolts or a rail.

There are also multiple VELCRO® strips for communication cable management, whether dual comms or other headset-related cable issues.
