Green dot flickering
by Drew -
Elected to go with another MRO for a .300 blackout rifle, I purchased this on 1/21 from PA and went to shoot it this past weekend and my green dot is flickering? I'd not even shot it yet and had left it on power 4 setting.. A bit concerning when thinking about reliability vs the big name competitor. Not sure if this is electrical or just needs a new battery, sure hope they last longer than 2 weeks.
Clearer glass than red model
by Christopher -
I have a red one that I didn’t like because it had a darker tint to the glass but I elected to try the green model. Much clearer glass and the green dot is easier on the eye than the red. It’s not suuuuper green.
Solid optic, Trijicon nailed this one
by Johnny
Glass is clear, does not have the annoying blue tint the red dot version has. The real standout feature of the MRO is its large objective lens, you can see so much more of the target than an aimpoint style dot sight. The dot on this model is more of a yellowish-green. I think it's a little more practical than the super pure green dot sights such as the holosun or EOtech because you can see past the optic a little easier (not get hung up on the intensity of the green). I love this optic and paired with the scalarworks mount looks great.
