The Trijicon MRO just got better with the MRO HD. The Trijicon MRO HD has been optimized for use with magnifiers with a reengineered objective lens and reticle with a 2 MOA dot and 68 MOA segmented circle. The top mounted rotary knob allows you to switch between the 8 brightness settings or swap between the full reticle or just the center dot. It is built on the same 7075-T6 aluminum chassis and footprint with the larger 25mm objective lens for a wider field of view and better light transmission. With the single CR2032 battery, the single 2 MOA dot will last up to 2.5 years while the full reticle will last up to 75 days of continuous use. If you are looking for the ultimate red dot for fast target acquisition with a reticle that facilitates medium range shooting, you can’t go wrong with the new Trijicon MRO HD Red Dot Sight.

Issue with ghosting in reticle

by -

Prior to ordering this sight, I had read several reviews that mentioned issues with ghosting and diode image reflection in the reticle in certain lighting conditions. When I received the sight, I realized right away that this was indeed the case. Immediately noticed a red "flaring" or ghosting in the reticle in multiple locations around the house and outside. And while only using the 2 MOA dot without the 68 MOA reticle, you could see outline of the 68 MOA reticle in various conditions as well. The field of view was excellent and the reticle and dot were crisp and bright. However, this ghosting and other visual anomalies were fairly prevalent and a total deal breaker for me. Hard to imagine Trijicon would release a new product with this obvious issue, especially for the substantial price point. I immediately submitted a return request.
