Issue with ghosting in reticle
by Steven -
Prior to ordering this sight, I had read several reviews that mentioned issues with ghosting and diode image reflection in the reticle in certain lighting conditions. When I received the sight, I realized right away that this was indeed the case. Immediately noticed a red "flaring" or ghosting in the reticle in multiple locations around the house and outside. And while only using the 2 MOA dot without the 68 MOA reticle, you could see outline of the 68 MOA reticle in various conditions as well. The field of view was excellent and the reticle and dot were crisp and bright. However, this ghosting and other visual anomalies were fairly prevalent and a total deal breaker for me. Hard to imagine Trijicon would release a new product with this obvious issue, especially for the substantial price point. I immediately submitted a return request.
