I bought the midlength version of this rail for a budget AR pistol I was building from all "black Friday" parts. The rail is clean and well constructed. Do not be afraid of the UTG name. The UTG Pro series is made in America (Michigan?) - I liked the mid length model so much that I bought two rifle length and anther mid length handguard to outfit all my rifles.

I have been very impressed with these UTG products. My original rail has been battered and abused and has stood up extremely well so, when my wife decided she wanted one for Mother's Day, it was a no brainer. Super fast shipping also. I'll definitely do business with Primary Arms again.

I purchased this hand-guard with mixed emotions about UTG. The product is packaged in a clear plastic box with instructions stuffed in the hand-guard itself. It also comes with the tool to properly secure and torque the barrel nut. the overall feel, look and finish of the product is 5 star. The barrel is free floated everything lined up perfect. I was surprised to see the product is made in the US. I would recommend this to a friend.very well made product.

I purchased this rail for a Smith and Wesson M&P 15. I am a LEO and have been shooting competitively since I was 14. This is one of the best rails I have ever used (after 560 rounds). It states it weighs 12.5 oz. but I weighed it at 11.8oz. This is lighter than most rails out there. It is extremely slim and makes aquiring multiple targets a breeze. Combined with the right muzzle break there is no reason for even a top 3 gun competitor to consider another rail. I am impressed with UTG PRO and best of all it is made in the USA.

I was afraid this would be a cheesy pile of junk but this is far from it. I currently own rails by Daniel Defense and YHM so have a little point of reference for an opinion. Bought one to try on my DPMS dedicated 22lr upper before trying on a .223. Build quality is pretty nice, install is easy with clear and straight forward instructions. Install took about 20min tops including taking off front sight and referring to instructions on each step. Prob could be done much faster by someone with more experience. Comes with short add on rails and there are longer add on rails available. You must change out the stock barrel nut and replace with the one provided. Mounts with six screws and is very stiff and solid when finished. Diameter is quite small but this is what I was looking for. Feels smaller than the Troy Alpha. Worked out great for my kids. Would definitely consider another.

If you haven't purchased one these you don't know what you are missing. Serious bang for your buck!

I'm not sure about durability.. installation easy just follow the instruction..fast service.. but shipping was delayed these time ...but it's not primary arms fault is the shipping company..

Love this rail, fit and finish was good. I know everyone may have a hard time getting passed the UTG name. But they hit a home run with this one. Only thing missing is the quick connect for sling. Easy to mount and understand how to get it to lineup correctly.
