Leapers UTG PRO Model 4/15 Drop In Super Slim AR-15 Handguard - Carbine - Black

Awesome kit, dropped into my S&W M&P 15 Sport II in 15 minutes and looks factory installed. The full-length Picatinny extension and side sections more than solved the traffic jam on my stock rail, and great ventilation helps keep barrel temperature down. All-aluminum construction is rugged, yet very lightweight. Best of all, it’s made in the USA!

Looks great feels great and locks up tight. I have multiples and highly recommend.

The good: it's an inexpensive rail and it uses screw in rail sections that, when loctite'd, won't budge after placement. Installation is straightforward and can be completed in less than 15 minutes.
The bad: the QC on these has dropped off during the pandemic. Once installed, the rail was canted 5 degrees off center down the length of the barrel. (Not the case with the previous rail that I removed) The screw holes to hold the two halves together were misaligned and could not be tightened, the forward set being set too far forward, and the rear set being drilled too low - this was tested on the bench as well and no amount of positioning allowed them to fit correctly.

Disappointing to write this 2 Star on this hand guard, maybe it slip through QA , the 4mm screws that connect the upper - Lower not machined correct, the threads were bigger and the 4mm screw stripped it immediately. I want to say it looks fantastic and would set off my rifle. Hope I can return this without drama to PArms

The Upper and Lower when screwing in the 4x4m screws stripped without hardly any torque, I well understand these are aluminum and the screws are steel, so you must be careful, but I looked and the lower part with the threads they were machine too big, all of them, not sure if this slipped past QA or what, very disappointed but the hand guard is awesome looking.

Nice fit and finish, easy to install on a s&w m&p sport 2 optic ready without the tall front site
