Adding more surface area to your plate carrier can be beneficial, while adding more protection is also important.

These Velocity systems quarter flaps allow you to do both. These flaps work with the SCARAB LT/LE vest and allow for the standard front opening and single or dual flap opening.

These quarter pockets allow you to remove the vest without disturbing the equipment on your chest. They also allow for side storage with their MOLLE attachments and function as 6" x 6" side plate pockets.

Adding these to your vest increases the versatility of the vest while adding the possibility of side protection.

The quarter flaps are attached to the vest by VELCRO® Brand ONE-WRAP® fingers inserted through the SCARAB's plastic keepers and back into the quarter flap interior. This will hold the flap in place.

Removing, replacing, and modifying the quarter flaps can be done in minutes allowing you to tailor them to your specific mission needs.

The side plate pockets can be used for plates or as additional storage for more compact items. Attaching them to the carrier itself requires a shorter cummerbund for them to actually be used.

After properly installing them, you will be able to remove your carrier without disturbing the rest of your equipment, in addition to having extra areas to modify for your needs.
