Velocity Systems Side Plate Retention Strap - Black

Not all side plates are created equal. Some require more support than others. If you want to add larger side plates to your plate carrier, these Velocity System Retention Straps in Black will allow you to do that.

These straps go over your larger plate, allowing you to secure them within your side plate pocket. This is achieved by a layer of 500D Cordura with VELCRO® hook and loop fasteners attached to it.

These fasteners attach to the corresponding VELCRO® in the cummerbund to ensure the plate does not slip around in the pocket. Why would the plate slip around? Larger plates will go past the normal VELCRO® closures preventing them from being used.

These retention straps allow for the fasteners to attach to something allowing for the plate to be secured.
