The Viking Tactics MK4 Light Mount is a lightweight, easy-to-use, and affordable choice for mounting a light to your rifle or carbine. The VTAC light mount is designed to fit lights from 0.800” in diameter to just over an inch, providing a versatile range that will accommodate most popular rifle-rated lights on the market. This incredibly durable acrylic PVC alloy thermoplastic is also very lightweight so it won’t weigh down or add unnecessary bulk to even lightweight carbines. The VTAC light mount attaches directly to standard M1913 picatinny rails and can be oriented for right or left-handed shooters to easily access the push button on the tailcap of a flashlight. Vtac light mount

Great light mount for the money. I have it on my PSA 14.7" middy on a Midwest Industries gen 2 two piece drop in quad rail, and it fits snug and isn't budging. It have my Streamlight Polytac LED riding in it. I highly suggest this light mount to anyone looking for a high quality, low cost option for your weapon light.Primary Arms was fast as always. Light weight but sort of "dinky"

It's a great weight saver but I could not get it to fit my Streamlight Polytac LED, a very popular light to run on a weapon. The insert for small lights was too small (it actually broke when I tried to install it on my flashlight) and the light is loose in the main housing. I could of wraps of electrical tape would fix the issues, I'm sure, but I prefer not have to augment my gear when it's new. I'm also not super thrilled with the perceived durability of the piece. The plastic has a sort of cheaper feeling and the base kind of bends when you torque the screws tight enough to have it held securely. I have replaced the base with a Magpul mount but the Viking Tactics Light Mount would be great for some applications, just not on a battle, duty or hard use weapon. I do like how it can easily be used on either side of the weapon.

Not that great

Requires complete removal of screws to install and then there's a noticeable gap between each piece when installed on rail. I've used a lot of different light mounts and this one isn't all that great. Solid once mounted. Surefire light very difficult to slide into mount. I would spend more to get nicer low profile mount next time. You definitely get what you pay for

Better than expected

Took me forever to settle on a simple offset mount for my light. Was a tad worried about a polymer mount, but once I held it, installed it the worry subsided. This is NOT a piece of plastic junk. It is very solid with metal to metal fasteners and a super tight fit. Looks & works great on the Colt M4. As usual great service & fast shipping. Thanks PA
Good Product, Reasonable Price

Troy VTAC light mount is plastic but its strong plastic, clamps in place tightly and is fairly low profile depending upon how its mounted (suggest on side of P rail near combat grip for one finger light turn on). Metal material would be best but weight and price are factors. VTAC is adjustable to fit smaller sized flashlights. Overall satisfied.
