Vtac light mount
Great light mount for the money. I have it on my PSA 14.7" middy on a Midwest Industries gen 2 two piece drop in quad rail, and it fits snug and isn't budging. It have my Streamlight Polytac LED riding in it. I highly suggest this light mount to anyone looking for a high quality, low cost option for your weapon light.Primary Arms was fast as always. I placed my order after hours and it shipped the next morning. Great company t deal with. Thanks guys, and thanks VTAC!
Light weight but sort of "dinky"
by Mark Quimby
It's a great weight saver but I could not get it to fit my Streamlight Polytac LED, a very popular light to run on a weapon. The insert for small lights was too small (it actually broke when I tried to install it on my flashlight) and the light is loose in the main housing. I could of wraps of electrical tape would fix the issues, I'm sure, but I prefer not have to augment my gear when it's new. I'm also not super thrilled with the perceived durability of the piece. The plastic has a sort of cheaper feeling and the base kind of bends when you torque the screws tight enough to have it held securely. I have replaced the base with a Magpul mount but the Viking Tactics Light Mount would be great for some applications, just not on a battle, duty or hard use weapon. I do like how it can easily be used on either side of the weapon.

light weight, clamps tightly to rifle + holds light tight as well. great product at a great price.
Not that great
by Phillip Burnett
Requires complete removal of screws to install and then there's a noticeable gap between each piece when installed on rail. I've used a lot of different light mounts and this one isn't all that great. Solid once mounted. Surefire light very difficult to slide into mount. I would spend more to get nicer low profile mount next time. You definitely get what you pay for

this is a fantastic mount and damn hard to beat at 3x the price. will be replacing other mounts with these soon!
Better than expected
Took me forever to settle on a simple offset mount for my light. Was a tad worried about a polymer mount, but once I held it, installed it the worry subsided. This is NOT a piece of plastic junk. It is very solid with metal to metal fasteners and a super tight fit. Looks & works great on the Colt M4. As usual great service & fast shipping. Thanks PA
Good Product, Reasonable Price
Troy VTAC light mount is plastic but its strong plastic, clamps in place tightly and is fairly low profile depending upon how its mounted (suggest on side of P rail near combat grip for one finger light turn on). Metal material would be best but weight and price are factors. VTAC is adjustable to fit smaller sized flashlights. Overall satisfied.
Nice lite weight mount

very nice mount for the money.
Worked great on my Streamlight ProTac to give a great thumb placement on my KSG
Was disappointed with this mount
Works ass described but since it's plastic is has a discomforting bend to the clamping side when put on the rail snuggly that I just wasn't comfortable with. I don't think it would have come loose or moved but I didn't like the way is warped itself when on. Primary Arms took it back and promptly credited me, thanks your guy's service is fantastic!
A solid light mount.
It's lightweight, a solid lock up and for the price you can't beat it.
OK for the money.
This is ok. I wanted to buy the less expensive NcStar mount but it was not in stock. I do like this better than the Magpul MOE light mount I was using.
<br>This is very light, plastic mount with metal mounting screws. Once I got it all together on my MOE handguard it feels solid, but mounting and removing this is more of a pain than I think a rail light mount should be, even if it is not quick disconnect.
Very light weight plastic except for the screws. The little round nuts can come loose while installing which can make it a pain to screw together. A bit more difficult to remove and re-mount than I think even a non-quick-disconnect mount should be.
