Volquartsen – a leader in innovative and quality aftermarket firearm accessories – features the SureStrike Firing Pin for one of the most popular semi-auto rifles on the market today, the Ruger 10/22 firing LR22 Caliber rimfire cartridges.
Designed to minimize and or eliminate a light hit that almost always results in a misfire, the SureStrike is precision EDM (Electrical Discharge Machine) crafted from A2 tool steel. Then, the firing pin’s impact end receives a surface ground to create a SureStrike hit each time.
Features:
Hardened to a Rockwell Hardness of 56-58 to prevent excessive wear and deformity, the SureStrike Firing Pin is .004” wider than the original 10/22 factory pin, which helps it stay put in the factory bolt and helps eliminate side to side movement. As with most Volquartsen accessories, the SureStrike requires an easy drop-in installation, and in minutes you can fit your 10/22 with a firing pin that outperforms other comparable firing pins each time you fire.

by Michael -
Actually gun was dirty from back pressure from moderator but had occasional light fire primer strike . This firing pin is tool steel not a stamping and all issues went away , what I was looking for .
