VORTEX VENOM 3 MOA RED DOT

by

BEEN WORKING WITH BURRIS FOR YEARS THOUGHT I WOULD TRY THIS BEEN VERY HAPPY LOOKS TO BE GREAT QUILTY ,,UN REAL WARRANTY,,ITS A VORTEX THAT SPEAKS VOLUME

perfect shotgun/sbr/carbine sight

by

great shipping from primary arms, received in less than a week, great optic co-witnesses perfectly with my scorpion iron sights, giving 4 stars because had some sort of glue/sticky crap on optic, washed off with alcohol but still annoyed came like that from vortex

Excellent for the money!

by

I installed the Venom on my Glock 40 and have been very pleased with it. It has held up well to a few hundred rounds of full power 10mm loads. There are not many quality red dots that can be added to pistols at this price point, but the Venom certainly is one of them and with the unconditional lifetime warranty the Venom is the winner. The auto brightness works well and the dot is very bright and clear. My only complaint is that I wish it would go two settings dimmer for very low light situations.

Great little sight

by

It comes with its own mount but I picked up a ADM QD mount and it works slick on both PAP M92 and Ruger 22/45...As usual, Primary Arms ships immediately and customer service is top notch!

Excellent Micro Red Dot

by

The Vortex Venom 3-MOA Red Dot Reflex Sight, is an excellent micro red dot sight, and works/looks great on my Ruger 22/45 LITE, shipping was fast and hassle free. My only, minor, complaint is with vortex's fitted foam, the bottom layer, that the sight and parts rest on, retained the adhesive that bonded the layers together, requiring the use of alcohol to clean the "gunk" off of the sight after unboxing it.

vortex Verom

Wow, order late on a Thursday night, received the following Monday, great job Primary Arms. Mounted on a G-34 MOS, no real problem but had to use original screws from g-34, not ones supplied from Vortex. Also had to belt sand original screws as they were approx. 1/32 to long. Whole assemble time about 30min. Looks great. All functions work on red dot and gun. Will sight in this weekend.

Venom mounted on g34 mos

by

Recived in three days. Everthing look and was great. Mounting screws that came with were not for a glock but screws that come with glock base plates were ok. Screws that hold red dot to plate had to be belt sanded just a 1/32 to long. Secured all screws with locktite

Great dot

by

Great dot sight. vortex includes the proper screws for glocks mos now. mounted on a G40 10mm. shoots like a dream

Colt 45 ACP shoots like a charm with the Vortex Venom

by

I used a Docter mount to install the Vortex Venom on my 1911 Colt Series 70 Gold Cup. What a great addition to my shooting fun. The 45 ACP requires a good coat of lock tight to keep the screws from working out.

Didn't wow me as far as Red Dot Sights go.

I used it on an AR, but it needed the riser block. I didn't have the tight groupings I expected. I replaced it with a Riton X3 and had much better groupings. I would only use it on a pistol.
