WeaponTech AK47 Enhanced Bolt Hold Open Follower - 3 Pack

I put these in my Tapco AK mags in no time at all. They work as described. The bolt will close once the mag is removed though. I like these followers, at least I know when I'm empty. Shipping was as expected.

I Put these in Tapco ak47 smooth side 30rd mags, so far ive only emptied 6 mags one time each with zero issues. I like the fact that you can feel as well as see when your last round has been fired, the bolt closes when the spent mag is removed meaning you will have to cycle the bolt to chamber the first round of a full mag unlike AR15 type rifles with a BHO & bolt release. in my mind it would still save time in a tactical scenario since you dont have to drop the hammer on an empty chamber, count, or guess when you will run dry & at the range having the bolt held open indicates the weapon is safe at a glance for the operator and other shooters.

I used them in my tapco mags and they seem to work great

Installed in all my mags -- from Circle 10's to new mil-spec metal to used mil-spec to a couple cheap Tapco's. A very simple install and improvement over the factory installed follower -- and working in conjunction with a Kreb's safety lever, about as close as you can get to the M4 setup. Not perfect, but damn sure better than nothing!!!

Installed in three tapaco mags for C39v1 worked great.

Installed over 20 of these in a variety of AK47 mags. They all work as described by the maker in my AKs and a CMMG Mk 47. A definite plus to have the BHO feature.

Installed these, extremely easy, took all of about thirty seconds (literally about thirty seconds per magazine). Tried them out for the first time last night (8/30/15) at my indoor range. Without fail, the bolt was held open after the last round was fired. As with this device, it will be the magazine itself holding the bolt open, you may find it slightly more difficult to remove the mag (which will then slam the bolt forward, unless you ease it forward with the charging handle). Nonetheless, very impressed with this item.

It does exactly what is intended to do.. Very good product, a must have for AK owners. I have it on all my Mags.

It was easy to install .. dropped right in.Quality looks good. Installed it into a mag that wouldn't work, original mag follower was getting stuck inside the mag body. Once I installed the Enhanced BHO follwer the mag worked with no problems. Works as advertised.

It was very frustrating to shoot with mag's that did not have the bolt hold open follower feature. Once I replaced them with the new followers it was a blast. Easy replacement took all of 3 minutes.Thanks PA!!
