WMD 5.56 AR-15 Bolt Carrier Group Without Hammer - NiB-X Finish

I've had my WMD NB BCG for about 3 years now and it has worked great. The finish is the best of my 3 NB BCGs,(Spikes Tactical, PSA, WMD). The coating is still not showing any signs of coming off or any signs of wear after about 5 thousand rounds in 3 years. I paid full price back then $189 direct from WMD because PA didn't offer it back then. I've been very pleased with it and recommend it to anyone.

This is a beautiful piece of work, the engraved WMD logo is tasty and looks amazing. It sparkles from every angle, Seems to be a well crafted BCG and has functioned perfectly for me, I am using with a Law folding stock adapter and I can really tell the decrease in friction in my action compared to the non NB BCG I was using. It does clean up much easier as well. To be honest though my favorite thing about this bolt carrier group is the bling effect it has. This NIB X is a stunner and they really polished it up well prior to it leaving the factory,. I plan on buying more of these,

WMD makes top notch stuff.
BUT,
this carrier arrived with so very milling marks on bottom of carrier where the rail surface rides inside upper receiver. Was a little surprised at the milling marks and rough areas around reciever. This is second time since covid changed the marker a year and half ago. Seems like company's are sacrificing quality control, for speed on production with demand so high.
Well, they still have a name to represent, so these company need to slow down. And hold to there high quality ways.
Primary arms is awesome as always. Still fast deliveries, even in trying times.
So what the story here,
The story is, it is a sellers market. Demand is thru the roof, production is down. This means, buyers beware. Quality may not be what it once was. Be sure to inspect products fully before you throw in your firearm. Keep you quality expectations ad a buyer.... Always.

I would highly recommend this BCG, after shooting 120 rounds rapidly it never malfunctioned and it was very easy to clean. The fit and finish is excellent, it's properly staked, no machine marks or burs. BUY IT! The reviews speak for itself.

So far this BCG has performed flawlessly. Great built quality, I haven’t noticed any machine marks, just very smooth & slick BCG. The color has darkened after firing about 300 rounds but it’s still feels buttery smooth.

Everything about this bolt is great except that it does not clean up like new. It will look a little darker after a few cleanings. Not a big deal to me. I run 2 of these in 2 different mid length 16" rifles and the best part about them is you can run them dry and they're very reliable.

This thing is smooth as a baby's butt! Easy to clean, and gorgeous! Would recommend and will be replacing the rest of my phosphates with this bolt. Just the time saver in cleaning alone is worth the pennies.
