Details

The Yankee Hill Machine Phantom Comp/Brake has been designed to work as a muzzle brake and compensator. Lack of downward facing ports help to mitigate dust signature when shooting from the prone position. This 5-port design includes an aggressively cut face for use in hand to hand situations.

NOTE: This device does not reduce the flash signature of the firearm.

YHM Compensator/muzzle brake

OK I am really impressed with this brake. I switched out my Levang linear comp. with this newer model from YHM. All I can say is wow, even though with large heavy scope and heavy 20' bull barrel the change or reduction in recoil and muzzle jump was significant. In other words it really works good.

Great looks & function

Put on a 20" HBAR target rifle to manage recoil and it's hard to tell how much it helps, given the weighty rifle. However, fit and finish are standard YHM high quality, comes with a crush washer too.

Really all-but-eliminates muzzle jump, and looks awesome. The color was lighter than expected, but it's fine.

YHM brake 5M1

This comp/brake works surprisingly well, especially considering its low price. I put this on my AR that I use for 3-gun and am very happy with its performance.
