Geissele Automatics Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced SSA-E Two Stage AR-15 Trigger - Curved
Details
Details
The Geissele Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E) Trigger builds on the SSA's chassis with a reduced first and second stage pull weight, giving shooters a crisper, more precise break suited to everything from precision shooting to duty use.
Features:
- Two-stage design with a smooth 3.5 lb total pull weight
- Curved trigger bow keeps finger placement consistent for better control
- Designed after the same trigger platform used by U.S. Special Forces
- Standard .154" mil-spec trigger and hammer pins fit any mil-spec stripped lower receiver
- Compatible with 5.56/.223 AR-15 rifles and .308 AR-10 pattern rifles
- EDM wire cut from heavy-duty tool steel with a durable black finish
The reduced pull weight and crisp, consistent break let shooters build genuine muscle memory around exactly when the shot will fire, a combination that's excellent for long-range precision work while remaining reliable enough for home defense or duty use.
Trigger pull weights are approximate and may vary slightly between rifles.
Geissele Automatics was established in 2004 with the mission to build the highest quality, reliable triggers for competition and duty use; its first design, the Hi-Speed National Match trigger, was successful enough that the Department of Defense asked the company to produce a select-fire trigger for U.S. Special Operations.

Worth every dollar! 2nd time I've used this trigger in a build and won't be the last.
Absolutely Amazing!

Being a competition shooter, I have upgraded the triggers in all my pistols. Until now, I had not upgraded the triggers in my rifles, as I wanted to get plenty of time on them with the Mil-Spec triggers before I upgraded parts that may not need it. However, I have recently found that the triggers were hindering me. I got trigger freeze more than once, since I'm used to the MUCH shorter travel and reset distance on my pistols. I also would think that my rifles felt sluggish, heavy, and clunky with the Mil-Spec triggers. Well, no more...
Picked up this SSA-E trigger as part of a sale and put this in my most used rifle. Just got back from a competition using the new trigger and WOW! I realized near the end of the match that I hadn't even thought about my trigger at all. The Trigger worked perfectly, in that it 'got out of my way' and let me focus on target transitions, aiming, etc. I can't think of higher praise for this trigger than the fact that I didn't think about it at all.
Love the Saa e

I have a match trigger on my air rifles. On those I can go as light as possible since it's not extreme as my firearms. My Texan has a 2lb first stage..wall then 1lb brake. But is so smooth you'd want it on everything. My lubed SSAE his jerky on its first stage...wall...then brakes so clean on 2nd. Im praying that breaking it in will make it smoother. 100 rounds later...maybe another 500 then it'll smoothen out. Lol. Gonna try the x series for my next build 🤙
The best

The Geissele SSA-E is without a doubt the best long range trigger on the market IMO because if you use the lube that comes with the trigger and you lube all of the contact points, you’re supposed to it will be an amazing trigger every time. Everyone I have installed has been 3 pounds total weight, and by being two stage the second stage is less than 1 pound so you know exactly when the shot will break. If you have never tried a two-stage trigger, you will be amazed at the accuracy you can gain by using them. Primary arms is the best place to purchase these Geissele triggers because they are always having great sales with the best prices and service you will find anywhere and they don’t soak you way too much shipping costs, which also saves money. Not just on triggers, but on anything you will be looking for online.
Smooth as silk

I bought one of these for a DMR build. I have several Geissele triggers and each one of them fill a specific roll. The SSA-E is not the type of trigger I would use for 3 gun, or CQB. I was leaning towards the SSA at first and opted for the -E instead. I am so glad I did. I tried a Tricon and an SSA in my build but they just didnt seem like they made my build feel like it was in sync. First day at the range with the Enhanced my groups tightened up to where my groups were 1/2 MOA. Before that I was getting MOA or 1.5 MOA. Most would say good enough but I wanted to see how good it could be. I put 5 rounds through 3 holes. I recommend this for any gun that you want precise shots out of. I would want one of their triggers that has more poundage on the pull for other applications unless you are very good under pressure with a lite trigger. Primary Arms was running a sale on it and price and shipping was great as usual. They are my go to for Optics and triggers.
Fantastic trigger that doesn’t sacrifice reliability
by Garret W
This triggers first stage is predictable. Most people replacing their trigger want a clean break that doesn’t sacrifice the durability and reliability that mil spec triggers have. This trigger does that. Installing was straightforward. I installed it with a punch and small rubber hammer. Longest part of the install was lining up the pins in the lower. Putting it in a vice probably would have sped it up considerably but was not necessary. Installed in a PWS MK116 Mod 2M.
Excellent Trigger
by MLone
I have several Geissele triggers. I use this one specifically for my DMR. The trigger pulls up to a distinct wall which takes very little effort to hit. Once the wall is hit the pull is 3.7 lbs on my Wheeler Professional. That is a new unused measurement which will get better with use. The break is crisp and it resets in about 1/16". Like with all Geissele triggers they are quality. If you are doing CQB I think the SSA would be a better choice for safety depending on your experience and expertise. I havent been to the range with it yet but expect my DMR to perform to its full potential. I recommend the SSA-E for that application. PA had a great price, over Labor Day weekend and I was able to order and receive it in 4 days. Excellent response time from them as usual.
Man the hype is real

Got this for a M16A2 clone I built and man I tell you what from now on any precision AR I built will have a Gisselle trigger. I wouldn't recommend this for speed shooting but this is excellent for precision shooting.
