Great kit

Great buffer tube kit. Function was good. Fitment of buffer inside tube could be a little tighter.

Works great

Works and fits great on the Aero M5 lower.

Nice works fine!

Got it in greased it up and installed it and it works great thanks

Call me a wimp, but my 16" mid length AR10 with this kit kicks like a mule

by -

My AR10 kicks so hard that I flinch just thinking about squeezing the trigger. I have a 16" mid length AP upper. I'm going to try a heavier buffer weight to lessen the recoil before the flinching becomes a habit.

Thank you for taking the time to speak with me regarding the M5 buffer kit. We hope your new buffer and muzzle brake help with the felt recoil. Please do not hesitate to reach out to us if you run into any issues with the buffer and the brake.

After adding a muzzle brake, and a heavier buffer it shoots much nicer

When I first purchased this kit, the AR-10 really kicked --so badly that it was causing me to flinch before pulling the trigger. After seeking advice I changed to the Expo Arms 0.308 Heavy Carbine Shorty Buffer 5.3 oz, and added a Precision Armament M4-72 muzzle brake and now it is much nicer to shoot.

Keeping it Simple

I’m gonna give this one a try and see if it works with the M5 Upper and maybe add a Precision Armament M4-72 to it, being that some had an issue with the kick. Will see and I’ll come back and update accordingly.
