Worth the Money in My View

Fits your hands like a glove and very streamlined. No picatinny rail to grab onto and make it uncomfortable for your hands. This handguard is easy to clock and is worth the price. High quality. I would definitely buy again.
Needs some improvement

This is my 2nd atlas s-one handguard, the 1st was for a 556 rifle and I loved it so much, I ordered one for my 308. It is slim, extremely lightweight, comfortable, and mounts easily. The problem is the QD sling mount location is too far back to use due to the clearance between the barrel and the handguard. If the QD socket was 1/2" further forward, there would be no interference. I tried 3 different QDs and all contacted the barrel neck before they could be fully inserted. I'm using a faxon pencil barrel, so I don't believe it is any thicker in that area than other barrels, and it's not even close to having enough clearance. Other than that, I love the handguard for a lightweight build, but I have to knock a star off for having to buy a separate QD mount for a handguard that has built in QD sockets.
