This mount will place optics to a central height of 1.93" allowing the objective bell to clear a laser sighting system such as the PEQ-2/PEQ-4 or for rifles requiring a higher cheek weld.
Featuring ADM's QD Auto Lock Lever system, the AD-RECON can be fully adjusted without tools to accommodate most Picatinny rail systems. This glove friendly locking system ensures the mount will not move until you need to remove it, and provides exceptional return to zero with mounted optics. It is also fully covered by American Defense's lifetime warranty.

Good old AD

Again, all American Defense products seem to be damn near unbreakable. It's just as stable as the AD-Recon I have, but with a little more height. This allows you to put BUIS on the rear of the receiver underneath the scope.
Great Mount/ Lightning Shipping

As usual, thanks to PA for the really fast shipping. Picked up this mount for a Vortex Viper PST 1x4 I mounted to my Tavor. The Tavor has an extra low rail so using a standard or low mount give you a very strained cheek weld. This was the perfect solution and gave me the hieght I was looking for. A lot Tavor owners will fork over $150 for a 1/2" taller rail and then still have to buy a quality mount; with this you kill two birds with one stone and get an awesome mount in the process!

never seen anything like them. they are the best piece on mounting equp.i have ever used.went on a mission to change mounts on my scopes to Q.D. this year bought 12 sets of Warne,(love them) they are not American Defense. I have changer them from gun to gun and they do just as they said they would, I cant say enough good about them.Anyone want to buy a bunch of high mount Warnes,and one more thing Please American defence don't go overseas with these . the machining and finsh of this mount is perfect, and after an easy adjustment fit rock solid on my ar. clear instructions were included with the product. the best part is its 100% made in the usa. I would definatley buy one agian for another rifle.
Awesome mount

The recon-h is a well made, durable mount. I ordered the h model because normal mounts are a little low for me. Unfortunately, it put the scope a little too high which caused a poor cheek weld. So I called PA & they were more than happy to exchange it for the normal recon mount. PA has the absolute best warranty & exchange policy. They always do what they can to make the customer happy. Order with confidence.

Quality

Clearly a very sturdy and well made mount. The mounting mechanism appears to be extremely secure. It may not be as light as some others out there but it will hold up to abuse and it comes at a fair price.
