Nice Anderson lower
by Randy -
Really nice lower it matches up with my upper very well. Wish I bought 2
Great lower for the price.
by Chris -
I bought these on sale, assembled the first and fit and finish was perfect.
Tried it with a couple different uppers and fit better than lowers that cost twice as much.
Will buy again if I ever need another.
Anderson the best but blems are blems
Anderson does have blem lower before buying the cheap cheap lower find out if they are blems
I have built and sold thousands but not blem

Awesome product. I brought 2, one for me and a friend and we built our AR-15 together. Works like a charm
Great AMERICAN made lower for the money! Start your build today!
When these are on sale at $30 or $40 you CAN NOT go wrong. I have built several for friends and these lowers work just fine. I have needed a small file here or there or even a bit of fine tuning BUT you are building a weapon from a stripped lower so get on with it. Want a perfect gun? There are plenty of ones pre-built on the market for thousands of dollars. I am a DIY builder so these are perfect. QWITURBITCHING and get on with your building!
by Old Man
All of these I have used have been fine.
The trigger and hammer pins are not dependent on their fit in the lower for staying in and if one comes out, you have screwed up something during the installation.
WOW great deal!

WOW! what a great deal. Very good finish. I put in the parts kit in less then an hour. Wish I would have bought two
Stripped Anderson Lower
For an economical build, you can not go wrong with this lower. If you are not a DYI type person or if you just like to whine about products you're not familiar with (IT'S AN ANDERSON LOWER, ENOUGH SAID!!!), do not buy this product. STFU and move on.
It's probably going to need some minor gunsmithing or not. I've used at least 5 lowers for builds and some were spot on, others, not so much.
Again for the money, you can't go wrong.
What do you mean "Mil. Spec." when you are discussing AR 15's?
Anderson Lower worked fine. I see people referring to "Mil. Spec." in reference to AR 15 lowers. " it's not milspec unless it has burst/auto capability and you carry it for Uncle Sam. " I hope that sinks in ladies!
Works fine, good fit.

Well, I've ordered three of these so far. I have all three of them assembled, at least the lowers. I have no problem with them at all. Everything fit properly (all holes lined up, all parts fit). I did notice some people complaining about how hard their takedown and pivot pins are to pull out. If they went in and out fine without the detent in, this is a problem with the pin, or the detent, not the lower. Some of mine are hard to pull out also, but they slid in and out fine without the detent. So it's not the lower that's the problem. It's the detent or the PIN. Those reviews are not valid reviews of the lower. I did have some Chrome pins that I purchased. The take down pin was hard to push in with no detent, but the pivot pin fit fine in both holes. So again, this is a problem with the pin, not the lower.
Severely out of spec

I wanted to post this since I see PA has just put these back up for sale (12/3). Bought two of these lowers on the last sale. Finished one build and noticed my mag well vice block (which is several sizes smaller than a real magazine) wouldn't fit in the mag well - not even close. I tried a Troy battle mag, a Magpul gen 2, and a 20 round Vietnam era original GI - the tops of all those mags stop on the bottom of the mag well. The mag well is about a 1/4" too small to accept a standard magazine. The second, still stripped lower has the exact same issue. I have two other Anderson AM-15 lowers I bought over a year ago that were just fine. I have no idea how these next two could be so ridiculously out of spec. Even the most basic QC should've caught it.
Great deal....whiners beware.
Great value and quality for a sub $100 lower. It amuses me to see the idiotic nit picky reviews on here. If you want perfection....go get you a Noveske. I will build on these all day long.
Wow! Shocking nice.

I have to admit I’m a bit particular when it comes to AR builds, so when I was putting together an on the fly, discount build using on sale parts, I was actually surprised and impressed at the quality and finish. I don’t like the “chalky” finish others are making. It’s paired with a blem BCM upper, Radical FA 10.5 barrel, AlG blem handguard, & extra parts. It’s a nice, accurate shooter. Upper & lower have almost no movement. Even after paying transfer fees, at $29.00, it’s a keeper.
This lower does everything I need. I put all ambidextrous controls and they work very well. The tolerance between the upper and lower could be tighter but it still isn't bad. I would 100% buy this lower again. If your looking for nothing fancy and to get the job done this is the lower for you
You can't beat the price of this lower. The tolerance between the lower and upper are a little loose but nothing crazy. I have put all ambidextrous controls(Troy mag release, ambi safety, ambition bolt catch) all work fantastically. 100% will buy again.
OUT OF SPEC!!! Nov 2017

I bought 2 of these and just completed build #1. I was worried when the pivot pin and take down pin seemed to be an extremely tight fit in the holes. Got more worried when I put the complete upper (also an Anderson!) on the lower and had to use an inappropriate amount of force to get the two halves to come together and lock into place. The take down pin can not be pushed out with the best thumb pressure I can muster...had to drive it out. At range after 90 rnds, I noticed the trigger get REAL stiff. I look down, and the trigger pin has walked out to where it was almost all the way into the receiver from the other side! Both trigger and hammer pins were overly easy to push out with even the slightest pressure. The lower parts kit I used was high quality (RRA) and I've used it in each of my 2 prior builds. Hate to rain on the Anderson praise party here, but they put out batches that are out of spec. The serial # on this one is 171582XX
I would give other brand a chance even pay a little more

Not really happy with fit. Tried a couple of uppers and the gap between the upper and lower was huge. I know its milspec but dang, you could see sunlight for miles.(little over exaggerated). The uppers I have fit their lowers with minimal gap/play.
Awesome and affordable

I own about 5 of these and all work flawlesssly. For the price you can’t go wrong.
Great foundation at a great price.
I have purchased and built about a dozen of the Anderson lowers with outstanding results. The fit and finish is always top notch. I have AR-15s, and AR-10s from other large commercial manufacturers and the Anderson equipment seems comparable to them.

The mag doesn’t slide out as smoothly as my other AR. Maybe time will help. Will most likely look elsewhere for next build.
by Walter -
I've bought 3 of these. Best way to save money on a build without sacrificing quality. Most receivers come from only a few actual places so apply your money elsewhere and just buy these.
Just do it!
Finish feels equal to that of my Colt 6920. Edges are smooth, no burrs, spurs, or inconsistencies.
Some good, some bad

I ordered two and the quality is mediocre. Yes, it's Anderson. For the price, which said 3.98$ shipping turned out to be almost 10$ when I got charged, they still aren't a bad deal. It changed when I added a parts kit to what I got charged, then dropped back down when I removed it so it was specific to this product and why I put it in the review. The trigger pin holes are loose for more liking. I put an Anderson trigger in on and a PSA in the other. Both are equal in that matter. On one the rear takedown pin hole is loose to where the detent catch the pin so I have to bang it closed. The finish is not durable at all. This will house in and out of spec magazines so that's a plus. There are no issues with the buffer tube from those same two manufacturers I mentioned and they fit on multiple uppers as they should. These function and are good for budget ARs. I would still get them for the price but anything more expensive and I'd turn elsewhere for a lower.
Not to spec
Installed my LPK on this lower and the takedown and pivot pins are so tight that I have to use a punch and hammer to remove them. And this is with out the upper attached.
