The Daniel Defense RIS III AR-15 Handguard is a rail interface system that builds upon the proven design of the RIS II. The RIS III achieves a reduction in weight while significantly enhancing its versatility thanks to is generous M-LOK mounting points. The RIS III Handguard maintains a free-floating barrel design and includes seven M-LOK attachment points along its length.

The handguard is expertly crafted from rugged aircraft-grade 6061-T6 aluminum, ensuring exceptional strength and long-lasting performance in the most demanding conditions. The Daniel Defense patented 6-bolt bolt-up system firmly secures the handguard to the upper receiver, establishing a solid and stable platform. The RIS III Handguard features an uninterrupted upper rail platform.
