Details

EOTech EFLX Mini Red Dot Sight is changing the game for EOTech as it is their first offering in the Mini Reflex Sight. Since EFLX has the same aspect ratio as the Holographic Weapon Sight (HWS,) its large rectangular window provides a huge field of view which is unparalleled in reflex sight technology and will provide the user with great situational awareness on their peripheral vision, plus it makes the dot easy to pick up so you can aim fast. EFLX can be mounted on many different pistols because it utilizes a Leupold Delta Point Pro footprint and can mount on a rear dovetail mounting adapter. Since the EFLX is made by EOTech, it’s housed in heavy duty aluminum that can withstand the rigors of professional grade applications, meaning it will be up to any task it’s used for like hunting and home defense. The EOTech EFLX Mini Red Dot Sight can be mounted on shotguns, rifles, and pistols.

One for one

My first red dot after years of running irons. I’m happy with my choice and my increased performance from zeroing to competition to range days is a world better. I run it co-witnessed with suppressor height/night sights on my Sig p320 X-Carry. It does hang over the slide slightly but the minor aesthetic breach is overshadowed by its ease to acquire the dot and maintain superb situational awareness.

Having gone through the red dot market thoroughly, I opted for one which was durable/simple, reputable brand (yes that matters), and window size-to-dot size ratio.
Eotech did well for their first. Since everyone has their favorite RDS these days, I can’t say it’s for everyone but for someone who prefers common sense and practicality, I would steer toward the 6 MOA model due to its overall application for duty, home defense, conceal carry, and recreation.
Would recommend to a friend.
