Built to extremely precise tolerances, these upper receivers go through a rigorous quality control process to ensure they are built to high quality with a premium finish.

Expo Arms M-LOK Enhanced Wedgelock AR-15 Handguard - 15"
The Expo Arms AR-15 Enhanced Handguard features one of the most durable barrel nut locking mechanisms on the market. The wedge lock design provides a greater surface area for keeping the handguard attached to the longer barrel nut and significantly reduces the chance of the handguard from twisting or coming loose. In addition to this enhanced attachment method, the handguard is machined from thick 6061-T6 aluminum with alternating M-LOK slots that increase rigidity while still giving you plenty of options for setting up your rifle with whatever accessories you need. The slim design helps to reduce weight when compared to quad rail designs while the full length top rail gives you the ability to attach mission critical accessories like iron sights or laser modules that need to remain zeroed. The top rail also features t-markings, so you can easily identify what position your accessories are slotted at when reconfiguring your weapon.

Really Good

I wished that this was reviewed before, but I took the plunge during a sale.
I used it for a 18 inch 6.5 Grendel build. It fits together really tightly. The barrel is heat fit. I screwed up and didn’t heat it enough and had to deadblow hammer the barrel the rest of the way in.
The upper receiver had the coating come off a little during my deadblow hammering.
Lower assembly went fine. It’s M16 cut with the Mega upper fitment adjustment screw. I’m not sure if mine came with the screw or not. I used one out of my spares box.
The Forward Controls Designs black finish looks good on this receiver set. I did not weigh the hand guard. I’m at 7.5 lbs for a built rifle with Odin Works barrel, H2-A5 buffer, and a magazine.
Currently, I would totally buy this again, especially during really good sales. It seems to be a solid choice for a non-ambi, non-ARCA precision build.
