Excellent for my builds…..

by

Excellent for my builds,
So far I have been buying the lower priced items for my builds, on sale or because you get it discounted when you buy a gas tube so far because of both reasons, they are working for me and they fit under my M-lock hand-guards it is easy to install the gas tube and pin heck they almost install themselves, I will continue to use them in the future for more builds.

The gas tube would not fully seat in the gas block. It was extremely tight when inserted the tube half way in. I pulled it out and try another gas tube same result. I had to drive to town get gas block from the LGS. I wasn't expecting perfection just a serviceable gas block.

Poor machining

I purchased this block with one of their gas tubes and ran into trouble when installing the tube. Everything seemed to fit with no issues until I tried to get the tube into the block. The tube got about halfway in and it got lodged and stuck. Tried everything to get it out but the tube eventually snapped off.

Do not buy

Like the other reviews say, You have to drill it out to get your gas tube to fit. Spend a little more and get a different block.

JUNK

Gas tube hole too small. Do not have the right size drill bit. Will save the set screws ad throw it in the garbage.

Not junk after all

Previously gave a bad review because the gas tube would not fully go into the block. After I had more time to check it out i found a burr on the inside at the cross pin hole. Used a jewelers file to remove it. It took some time to file it out which means it's made out good hard steel.. Keeping this for my high volume heavy duty build.

Gas tube didn't fit

by -

I purchased a BCM barrel and decided to get the discounted Expo Arms Low Profile Gas Block and the Aero Industries Melonite Gas Tube. Received the parts and when assembly began I found the port for the gas tube to be very tight, to be honest I don't know if this was a gas tube issue or gas block issue. At any rate, I lubed the gas tube and began gently tapping the tube into the block and at the point in which the gas port in the tube was about to enter the block it froze in position. couldn't remove it or finish installing it. It is now a small piece of modern art. I have used the Aero gas tube previously without issue but not the Expo gas block. I would like to blame the gas block but I just don't know. Maybe the moral of this story for me is make sure you buy parts you have used previously that you trust and don't worry about a few dollars saved. Now it back to the drawing board.

Thank you for taking the time to speak with us today. We are glad we were able to get this resolved for you.
