Midwest Industries Two-Piece Carbine Extended Free Float M-LOK Handguard is an excellent option for replacing factory supplied AR-15 or M4 carbine handguards. The monolithic continous top rail offers flexibility in placement when attaching accessories. The handguard is designed with 5 anti-rotation QD sockets for push button swivels and extends past the front sight tower for more space to mount accessories.

Requested a return, glad I didnt

by -

I requested a return for this product because you need to remove the handguard cap to instal it. I really wasn't tooled to remove the front sight base to pull the handguard cap, and I was one hundred percent was not going to cut it off. I took a leap of faith with a 4 lb. engineers hammer and a set of punches to drive out the taper pins on the front sight base. Boy am I glad I didn't return this! It is a great handguard. It fits great, it feels great, and it looks great! QD sockets, m-lok? what else could you ask for? other than not having to get rid of that front handguard cap. This is the second MI handguard I've bought and the quality is great, so much so that I don't know if I would buy from many other brands at this point.
