Odin Works Ambi Safety Selector - Modular - Black

I really like this safety, for the price. Next sale I will buy another. I never liked the feel or movement of the straight lever AR safety, this makes going back and forth between safe/fire a whole new event.

If you have any muscle memory for selector manipulation, this IS NOT the safety for you.

I am giving this one star because these selectors are dangerous. The safety selector does not put the gun on safe, the mill spec safety selector works fine, my radian arms safety selector also works fine, the Odin safety selector you are still able to fire the weapon when the selector is on safe. I contacted Odin works about this and here was their reply.
“The AMS is designed around mil-spec triggers, some drop-in trigger systems may not be compatible. In most cases, the trigger height needs to be adjusted and then they will work fine with both 45 and 90-degree throughs. With that said, some triggers are not 45 degrees compatible. I'd recommend checking with the trigger manufacture to see what they say. Stay safe out there and if you have any other questions feel free to send them on over.”
There is no disclaimer that mentions anything the guy said in the reply email on primary arms or on the Odin Works website. I would recommend buying something else.

I have seven home built ar pattern guns. I have this on my go to because it just works. It has different install points to fine tune it to your hands. I fully recommend this part.

Great selector! Should be standard on all ARs or any rifle that has an ambi selector- 45 degrees just feels right!

I got three 3 of these and it works perfectly. It is very easy to operate.
I tried other products beside more expensive. They don't work as smooth as Odin safety selector.

This is one of the best ambi selectors I have tried. Love you I can rotate one side different than the other. Works perfect with geissele triggers in both ars I have put them on.

Functions great as others have said. I wish the reviewer that was able to operate the trigger while is "safe" mode had mentioned which trigger he was using. I've installed this on mil-spec trigger, as well Rise Armament, Lantac and Timney, and have not any problems.

It looks a bit funky, but I liked the idea of being able to set up the paddles in different configurations and gave it a try. Instantly fell in love! Set up the short throw and just loved the feel with gloves and without. A little wider than normal, but just a little shorter, the paddles do not get in the way and offer great leverage. Right handed, ended up flipping the right paddle. I found that worked really nicely for a quick and easy safe motion with my index finger while barely having to move that finger and breaking grip. Additionally, when my thumb is on the right during prone shooting, flipping the safety back and forth with just my thumb is so easy. It just feels good. For the one control that you probably touch more than any other, aside from the trigger itself, it's a really nice upgrade for feel and mechanics of movement!
