The San Tan Tactical Enhanced Bolt Carrier Group is designed for the AR-10 owner who demands high-performance components for their firearm. STT proudly manufacturers the highest quality firearms components in the industry. This Bolt Carrier Group features a flared rear to reduce carrier tilt/cant during recoil and increase reliability by strategically relocating key bearing surfaces. It is constructed from case-hardened 8620 steel for optimal performance and durability. This enhanced carrier offers less points of contact compared to other BCG’s, resulting in less friction area. The increase in mass ensures proper gas pressure and increases dwell time, thus improving extraction while shooting suppressed or short-barreled rifles (SBRs). The bolt’s external surfaces are CNC ground after heat treatment for a precision fit and held to the highest possible tolerances. The area behind the gas rings, where carbon collects, is precision CNC ground after heat treatment, to ensure as smooth of an area as possible, easing clean up and longevity. The bolt is constructed 9310 Case Hardened Steel, bolt components are shot peened and black nitride coated.
