This full-size service pistol features a 4.5” barrel that will accurately deliver the M&P 45 2.0’s 10+1 rounds of mighty .45 acp. Both the barrel and slide are stainless steel, protected from corrosion with Smith and Wesson’s Armornite finish. Due to the polymer frame, this full sized .45 pistol only weighs 27 ounces. This version deletes the thumb safety, relying on the passive firing pin drop safety and articulated trigger safety for protection from accidental discharge.The high grip and low barrel bore axis combine to soak up felt recoil and bring the M&P 45 2.0’s three-dot sights back on target quickly. Recoil feels like a soft push back, rather than a hard slap upwards.
