Manufactured from high-density Nylon polymer, the UDC will never corrode, rust, fade, or deform. A built-in adjustable detent screw allows you to easily compensate for receiver wear or increase/decrease opening power. The True Seal overmolded rubberized internal lip prevents water and other materials from entering the bolt carrier group. Ditch the C-Clip!

I love the quick release / spring-loaded pin. No c-clips to dork with! Very easy install. Functions and seals well. Deducting one star only because side with plastic pic should probably be metal. No reason at this point to suspect that this is needed, but I avoid plastic interfacing with metal whenever possible. This hinge is low-cycle enough that I don't expect this to be a problem (and half the cost of other dust covers, so replacing it would be a quick and painless process). A missing dust cover probably won't take me out of action, either, so pretty low-risk. Recommended!
